MAIN HOUSE:

The cottage boasts three elegantly appointed bedrooms, each with a comfortable king or double bed and its own en-suite bathroom. All en-suites feature a wet room, toilet, and basin, providing ample privacy and convenience for guests. Bed linens and towels are provided for all guests.

The open-plan living area is a welcoming space for relaxation and socializing. It includes a fully equipped kitchen with an electric kettle, microwave, toaster, cooking utensils, fridge-freezer, stove, oven, and a selection of pool-safe glassware and utensils. The dining table comfortably seats everyone, making it easy to enjoy meals together. The snug area offers a cosy spot to unwind, complete with an indoor fireplace, TV, and a selection of board games.

The garden room offers a cozy, private retreat within the property grounds. Furnished with plush seating, it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The room features a charming log burner, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Please note that logs are not provided for the burner, but they can easily be purchased at most local petrol stations. Whether you're seeking a quiet space to unwind or a cozy nook to escape to, the garden room complements the comfort and charm of the main property.

STUDIO:

For added flexibility and privacy, the studio can be booked alongside the main house. This modern space offers an additional living area with its own amenities, including a second hot tub, making it ideal for larger groups or families travelling together.

The Ferry View Studio is a cosy, modern retreat perfect for two guests, nestled in the vibrant village of Bowness-on-Windermere. This 150 sq ft studio has been recently renovated to provide a comfortable and stylish space, ideal for couples or solo travellers.

The studio features a luxurious king-size bed, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The en-suite bathroom is equipped with a rainfall shower, toilet, and basin, complemented by luxury toiletries - bed linens and towels are provided for your convenience.

A small kitchenette offers all the essentials needed to prepare simple meals, including an electric kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge-freezer, stove, and oven. The kitchenette is well-stocked with pool-safe glassware, mugs, plates, bowls, utensils, baking trays, pots and pans, and wine glasses. A dining table for two provides a cosy spot to enjoy your meals.

The living area is enhanced by a feature slate fireplace, adding warmth and ambiance. For entertainment, the studio includes a TV and WIFI, with a laptop-friendly workspace for those who need to stay connected.

Outside, guests can relax on the private patio area, which features a bistro table and chairs. The highlight of the outdoor space is the hot tub, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the Lake District. The studio also offers access to a garden or outside recreational area, providing additional space for relaxation.

A drop-off point at the front of the property allows for convenient unloading of luggage. Ample parking is available to the rear of the cottage on Ferry View, clearly signposted, with a stairway leading down to the rear entrance of the cottage.

The nearby World of Beatrix Potter Attraction is a family favourite, celebrating the beloved author's legacy and characters.
The nearest train station is Windermere Station, a short drive from the property, offering connections to major cities and towns, including direct trains from Manchester and connections from London.

For guests travelling by car, parking is available at the rear of the property, and a drop-off point at the front allows for convenient unloading of luggage.
We cannot accept pets and respectfully ask that you leave your furry friends at home for this particular trip!

Ferry View can be booked as the single main cottage house, or as both the house and the studio. Should only the main house be in use, both the studio and access to the second hot tub are restricted/not accessible.
