Here is a place where summers are best spent relaxing in the secluded garden with a hardback, or cooling off in the sea nearby. Winters, on the other hand, are for rosy-cheeked woodland walks up at Kingsdown and giant jigsaw puzzles spread out over the dining table. Toodle Pip’s central location offers the ‘best of both worlds’ – a quiet space for R & R, as well all the conveniences you could need right on your doorstep.

The house runs over three floors; there is a smart boot/utility room for everyone’s stuff; spacious light-filled kitchen; atmospheric dining room and open-plan sitting room on the entrance floor.

The sunny garden, accessed from the glass doors in the kitchen, is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of Bolly and a nibble on a selection of the finest local artisan produce as the afternoon drifts into dusk.

Three large double bedrooms (one with ensuite) and a bathroom, are accessed over the first floor, followed by a large fourth bedroom and ensuite nestled under the A-frame roof.

From the house in one direction, the coastline between Kingsdown and St Margaret's Bay conjures images of bootlegging pirates and hidden treasures, while in the other, Sandwich Bay tempts long walks on the beach and pub lunches by the fire in the medieval town nestled on the banks of the River Stour.

Closer to home, a picturesque and quaint coastal town, Deal has all you could need for a coastal escape. A few mins walk from the house is a beautiful stretch of shingle beach that stretches as far as the eye can see.

Outdoors, spend the day relaxing on the pebbles, dip your toes in the Channel or stretch your legs with a walk or a cycle ride along the esplanade with a pit stop at the locally renowned Zetland Arms pub right on the beach at Kingsdown.

Wander through Deal’s Georgian conservation area to the award-winning high street dotted with independent shops, cafes and a great choice of restaurants. You couldn’t be in a better location to explore all that Deal has to offer.
