Captains Quarters on Beach Street

Situated right in the heart of Deal, Captain’s Quarters is located in the sought-after Quarterdeck building on Beach Street opposite the pier, making it the perfect base to explore Deal.
The apartment is just seconds to the beach and the buzzy town centre with its award-winning indy restaurants, including the Frog & Scot as well as 81 Beach Street and Victuals.

Inside, high-end soft furnishings combine with a confident interior design scheme including hand-stitched bed heads, as well as beautiful drapes in bold fabrics and matching wallpapers.

The master suite is a good size with ample space for two. Along from the master suite, you’ll find a cosy twin bedroom, perfect for siblings or friends to share sea shanty tales and ghost stories or chat about the day’s adventures on the beach.

There’s an open-plan living space, complete with large flat screen TV, which provides a cosy space to unwind after a day of exploring.

Behind the apartment is a large pay and display car park for unloading and parking during your stay. Or if you come by train, Captain’s Quarters is about a 5-minute walk from the train station, which offers high speed services to and from London (travel time about 1 hour 25 mins).

The apartment is located no more than a few seconds from the popular Bohemian bar-garden and and Aspendos Turkish restaurant, so you are never far away from the hubub and life! Please note that due it the apartment's central location, there may be noise from the neighbouring bars and restaurants, in particular the garden at the Bohemian in the summer months when their customers use the garden. Feedback from our guests in the summer is that the apartment gets warm and they like to open windows - if you keep the windows open you will hear people in the Boho pub down below. We do provide two fans for the apartment so you may not wish to open the windows at all. If you'd like any more info, please let me know! In the colder months, guests tell us the apartment is super cosy and warm.

A picturesque and quaint coastal town, Deal has all you could need for a coastal escape. A few seconds walk from the apartment is a beautiful stretch of pebble beach that stretches as far as Sandwich Bay in one direction or Kingsdown cliffs in the other. Spend the day relaxing on the pebbles, dip your toes in the Channel or stretch your legs with a walk or a cycle ride along the esplanade with a pit stop at the locally renowned Zetland Arms pub right on the beach.

Wander down the award-winning high street dotted with independent shops, cafes and a great choice of restaurants. You couldn’t be in a better location to explore all that Deal has to offer.
