I hail from the farmlands of Northwest Ohio where I maneuvered manure spreaders and caught greased pigs. I've been living in San Francisco for close to two decades and last five years of those years has been spent living on boats. I grew up being dragged behind boats on the Great Lakes and am now a United States Coast Guard Merchant Mariner with the 100 Ton Captains license with Sailing and Towing Endorsements. When not on the water I spend a good portion of the year in the desert building the centerpiece for Burning Man.
When it comes to COVID safe practices I have refrained from doing pretty much anything outside of my vessel. I am a participant of the Astrazeneca Vaccine Trials and recievied the my first vaccine on December 10th, 2020.
