My favorite thing to do is travel internationally and domestically. I am a huge Europhile. I live in Lone Pine, California, a picturesque little town that is world famous for having some of the most spectacular scenery in the U.S., indeed the world. Travelers come here from every continent to see our mountains--including the tallest in the US outside Alaska, Mt. Whitney. Many people travel here to hike in the awesome Sierra Nevada, I hike a lot in our extensive local trails. Our community is also very near Death Valley, which has the lowest point in America. I love to travel and welcome travelers. I help run a little museum here so do stop by if you are in the area. We have artifacts relating to pioneer homesteading, mining, ranching and natural history including a fantastic collection of insects on display.
