British born but soon adopted a peripatetic life. I recently finished working for United Nations in Pakistan. I spend the winter living in my home; L'Airial Moustey, France. In summer I pack up my stuff and prepare my house for holiday rentals - then my dog, Sami, and I take to the road to visit friends/family all over Europe.
I have lived in Pakistan, Afghanistan, India, Japan, Russia, Lebanon, USA, France, and Kenya. In addition have been a world traveller/nomad - having spent many years visiting friends all across the globe in over 100 countries.
Interaction with guests
Sorry - I am usually out of country and unavailable in person, but I will always be contactable by email/phone to assist you and check that everything is going well. A friendly and helpful neighbour has keys for the property, will do your check-in/check-out and is available in case of any issues with the house. My neighbour is also a wealth of local knowledge and may, on request, help with your local excursion arrangements - eg vineyard tours.
