I was born in Alaska and I've lived here my entire life.
My husband Bud and I moved into this house in 1967 where we raised our seven children.
Kids all grew up and Bud passed away in 1984.
During the 1970's, Bud and I housed many of the Alaska Pipeline workers.
In 1991, after Bud had died (and the kids finally all moved out!), I opened up the house as a hostel where I have been hosting like-minded travelers from all over the world.
