First, please note that we are simply roommates - and very good roommates! - not partners. (This is not really important, but a lot of people expect that we are partners.)
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT, SO PLEASE READ:
No smoking. Period. Vaping OK (ONLY on the balcony) but no cigarettes or joints (again vaping pot on balcony is OK). Should you arrive and we discover that you are a cigarette, cigar, pot, or other substance smoker, we will have no option but to ask you to leave (without a refund) regardless of a promise to only somke outside of the building (smokers smell, and they trasnport that smell into our bedroom and other parts of the apartment, so no thanks).
Consuming pot gummies and other pot edibles is A-OK, but there is absolutely ZERO TOLERANCE for the consumption of any illegal substances in the apt, or on the balcony. AND ABSOLUTELY NO PETS ALLOWED, sorry but those are the building's rules.
We have a two-bedroom apartment in the heart of Vancouver's gay neighbourhood...the West End.
It is only minutes to shops, bars, the beach and beautiful Stanley Park.
Should we be fortunate enough to greet you as our guest, you will take up residence in one of our bedrooms, either the smaller BR with a double bed, or the main BR with a queen bed.
The apartment has a west-facing balcony, high-up on the 11th floor. It has a beautiful view of English Bay (where the "gay" - but not nude - beach is) to Stanley Park and the Coast Mountains to the north. You are welcome to BBQ and dine on the balcony and store your own food and bevvies in the fridge and out there (food and beverage not included...sorry). The sunsets can be stunning...just like being in a resort.
While it is relatively quiet here, we are in a very densely-populated neighbourhood; so, if you're a light sleeper, you might want to consider bringing some ear plugs. (Not definitely necessary...just a thought.)
Sorry, but we have to request that you keep the cologne to a minimum. One guest we had seemed to have bathed in the stuff and it was a bit much. Thanks for understanding.
