Central Square Hotel offers centrally located apartments with satellite TV and a DVD player. Guests enjoy a variety of cafés, shops and restaurants in The Square directly opposite the property. All air-conditioned apartments feature a kitchenette with a microwave, a refrigerator and a dishwasher. Central Square Hotel is conveniently located in Palmerston North town centre. Manawatu Golf Club is a 7-minute drive and A and P Showgrounds are 10 minutes’ walk away.

Accommodation policies

When booking more than 4 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply.

WiFi is available in all areas and is free of charge.

Private parking is possible on site (reservation is needed) and costs NZD 15 per day.

Pets are allowed on request. Charges may be applicable.

Children of any age are allowed. Children up to and including 2 years old stay for free when using an available cot. People 12 years old and over stay for NZD 35 per person per night when using an available extra bed. Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.

This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are in effect at this property. Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), this property is taking steps to help protect the safety of guests and staff. Certain services and amenities may be reduced or unavailable as a result. Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), this property has reduced reception and service operating hours. In accordance with government guidelines to minimise transmission of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), this property may request additional documentation from guests to validate identity, travel itinerary and other relevant information, during dates where such guidelines exist. Spa and gym facilities at this property are unavailable due to Coronavirus (COVID-19). Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A damage deposit of NZD 150 is required on arrival. This will be collected as a cash payment. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full in cash, subject to an inspection of the property. Please note that there is a 2% charge when you pay with a Visa or Mastercard credit card. Please note that there is a 3.5% charge when you pay with an American Express credit card. Our on site staff hours to 7am - 9pm 7 days a week. Please note outside of reception hours we have an afterhours staff member on duty .If you arrive outside reception opening hours, please refer to the check in details displayed on the right hand side of the entrance. Please note that pets are only allowed upon request in the Studio, One-Bedroom Standard Apartment and the Two-Bedroom Apartment room types. All other apartments available can't accommodate pets. Please note that parking is limited and subject to availability. Guests are requested to book a parking space by placing a note in the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property using the contact details found on the booking confirmation. You must show a valid credit card and photo ID upon check in. This credit card must be in the same name as the guest's name on the booking confirmation.

We believe they are a good alternative in locations where we have less hosts/no host. They also address the needs of LGBTQ+ travelers who may occasionally be more interested in such listings rather than in the experience at a 100% gay resort or with a misterb&b host. At this point though, we haven’t been able to vet their welcoming attitude and acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community.
