Free gondola ride to the Rudolfhütte am Weisssee at 2300m and to the Almwelt Lofer at 1350m is offered as well . The centre of Maishofen can be reached in a 5-minute drive, and Zell am See is a 7-minute drive away. A ski bus to the Schmittenhöhe stops a 5-minute walk away, and the Saalbach-Hinterglemm and Leogang Ski Areas are a 25-minute drive away.
