The Åtellet Hotell re-opened in April 2009. It is located at the mouth of the Norrtälje River, with the archipelago and sea at walking distance. Stockholm city centre is at a convenient distance by bus. The hotel is built in 19th century style, with top modern facilities. The idea was to recreate the character of Norrtälje and the atmosphere of that time. Åtellet offers restaurant, café and bar services, a sauna, lounges and conference facilities. The guest rooms have an atmosphere inspired by the archipelago. Most rooms have balconies or French balconies and offer wonderful views of the Norrtälje Bay. The interiors are inspired by timeless Nordic style with emphasis on comfort and convenience. The furniture has been custom made for Åtellet by a small carpentry in Småland.

Public parking is possible on site (reservation is not possible) and costs SEK 15 per hour.
Pets are not allowed.
Children of any age are allowed. Children up to and including 3 years old stay for SEK 100 per person per night when using an available cot. Children up to and including 4 years old stay for free when using an existing bed. People 4 years old and over stay for SEK 300 per person per night when using an available extra bed. Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
