Located in the heart of the Mürzer Oberland Nature Reserve, Kinderhotel Appelhof is about 120 km away from both Vienna and Graz. This renovated former farmhouse features spacious “fairy tale apartments” with separate bedrooms for parents (with four-poster bed) and children (with motifs from fairy tales). At the Appelhof all meals and drinks are included in the price. Rich buffets are served for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Baby food is also available. The “Märchenburg” (fairy tale castle) is a 1,000 m² indoor playground on 2 levels. The outdoor playground is an amazing 8 hectares in size, which is bigger than 12 football fields. There you will find a pony ranch, a petting zoo (goats, bunnies, small cows, llamas, owls), a trampoline facility, a pirate ship, a big sandbox, a bouncing castle, go-carts, electric cars, a climbing wall, and much more. The children's club provides professional child and baby care every day between 09:00 and 19:00. A varied entertainment programme (children's disco, game evenings, crafts, etc.) is also offered. Children of any age are allowed. Children up to and including 3 years old stay for free when using an available cot. Children up to and including 12 years old stay for free when using an existing bed. Children from 13 years old to 15 years old stay for € 66 per person per night when using an existing bed. People 15 years old and over stay for 100% of the adult rate per person per night when using an available extra bed. Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
