The ancient market town of Rothbury is just 2 miles from Thropton Demesne Farmhouse and Northumberland National Park is a 5-minute drive away. There is free parking at the property. Fishing on the River Coquet for salmon, sea trout and brown trout is less than 1 mile away. Day tickets available from Northumbrian Anglers Federation. The magnificent Cragside House and Estate are 3 miles from us and historic Alnwick with its world famous castle and garden 20 minutes away by car.
