1. Quiet Time: To maintain a peaceful environment, strict quiet hours are from 9 PM to 9 AM. During these times, please keep noise to a minimum—loud music, singing, or excessive noise is not allowed, especially in common areas or the bathroom. Personal speakers must be set to low volume, and TVs and house speakers automatically adjust their volume to stay within acceptable levels. Outside these hours, please be mindful of noise when other guests are home. If you’re alone, feel free to be more relaxed, but always consider others when sharing the space.

2. Smoking: Smoking is prohibited indoors, including in bedrooms and the shed/games area. Feel free to smoke outside, but let’s keep the inside smoke-free. Ensure external doors are closed when smoking outdoors.

3. Footwear: Please keep your dirty or muddy shoes outside to maintain a clean living environment for everyone. If you prefer to walk around indoors with footwear on, please use provided slippers.

4. Waste Disposal: Dispose of rubbish in the appropriate bins: General Waste, Recycling, Green Waste, and Cans/Bottles, each bin is labeled, please read them

5. Bathroom Etiquette: For everyone’s comfort, please leave the bathroom as you found it. Clean up after yourself and avoid flushing anything that could clog the drains. The drain catcher under the middle tile in the shower must stay clear. Additionally, do not leave personal belongings or other items in the bathroom—please take them back to your room after use to avoid them being disposed of.

6. Kitchen: After using dishes, rinse them and place them in the dishwasher. If the dishwasher is full, leave them rinsed in the scullery sink. Please avoid leaving dirty dishes in the common areas. Please hand wash bulky items such as pots and pans to allow other guests to enjoy the kitchen space without delay.

7. Fridge Care: If you have expired or spoiled food in the fridge, please clear it out. No one enjoys surprises when opening the fridge, fridge will be cleared out after guests depart and on Fridays. Please note the water jug auto refills. Ice is available in the freezer.

8. Personal Belongings: Let’s keep personal items in your bedrooms to maintain a neat and organised common space for everyone to enjoy.

9. Parking: If the driveway is full, feel free to park across the road or at the 24/7 gym on the corner. Please avoid parking on the footpath crossover.

10. Lock Up: When leaving the house, ensure you lock your bedroom and front door, this is for everyone’s safety and security.

11. Guests: If you have a friend dropping by, please give other guests a heads up and keep things mellow, especially during quiet hours.

12. Home Comforts: Please don’t remove any cables, furniture, or fixtures from the bedrooms, and let’s keep the kitchen items (utensils, plates, etc.) on the property. They’re not meant for day trips or work outings. Also, please don’t take towels or linens off the property.

13. Backyard Etiquette: Keep noise down, especially near Bedroom 2. Dispose of cigarette butts in the bin, clean up after yourself, and lower music after sunset. Clean the BBQ and turn off the gas after use. Ensure all doors, including mosquito nets, are closed when entering/exiting the house.
