About the Place

Quiet 2-room apartment with Spree view on the Stralau peninsula in the middle of Berlin. In 5 minutes by foot at the Ostkreuz S-Bahn station, in 15 minutes at the Eastside Gallery and in 20 minutes at Alexanderplatz. Fully equipped flat with its own kitchen, bathroom, dining area, bedroom and large living room with a wonderful balcony with a view of the greenery and the Spree. Ideal for 2 people. Elevator available. Barrier-free. Fast and free Wi-Fi. There are no additional costs on site.
The flat is located on the second floor of an idyllic and quiet block of flats on the Stralau peninsula in the middle of Berlin. The flat consists of a living room, a bedroom with a double bed (1.60 m x 2.00 m), a kitchen with dining area and a bathroom. The flat is ideal for 2 people.

The kitchen is fully equipped with the most important kitchen utensils: refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker, kettle, microwave, dishwasher with dishwasher tabs, toaster, crockery, cutlery, pots, etc.

The bathroom has a bathtub that can also be used for showering. A washing machine is also available.
A large television with 46 inches (1.17 m) with HDMI connection is available in the living room. There is also an HDMI cable for easy playback of videos from the laptop. The internet connection is very fast, so you can surf the web and work with a laptop at the small desk without any problems. A Bluetooth speaker for playing your own music is also available.

The flat also has a large balcony, which can be reached from the living room. With a view of the countryside and the Spree, the balcony is perfect for having breakfast or just relaxing.

It is a 5-minute walk to the Ostkreuz S-Bahn station. From here you can get to the most important sights within a very short time (e.g. Eastside Gallery 2 min, Alexanderplatz 8 min, Brandenburg Gate 15 min). Potsdam and Sanssouci Palace can also be reached in 50 minutes by train.

It is 7 minutes by car to Schönefeld Airport (costs a maximum of €10 by taxi) or 20 minutes by public transport.
Tegel Airport is around 20 minutes away and Tegel Airport is 35 minutes away.

A new EDEKA supermarket can be found just 700 meters from the property.

„The location of the flat is excellent. Very calm and family oriented neighbourhood. You can have an early morning jog by the Spree; Alt Stralau is a peninsula n the Spree. In fact, it has a historical value, and you can read about it online and while walking around. Karl Marx used to live in the same street when he was young. If you have a bicycle then restaurants, cafés, train stations, shops and a lovely park are between 5 and 10 minutes (a new speciality café opened beside the supermarket). The flat is very bright and wide. It is a corner flat; the bedroom is facing the sunrise, while living room and the kitchen get the majority of the daylights till the sunset time. The building has an elevator. Neighbours are friendly. I would recommend this flat especially for spring and the summer.“
The main entrance takes you to the stairwell of the flat building without steps. Here you take the elevator to the second floor. The front door to the flat is on the left. I will hand over the key to you personally when you arrive.
The flat is very quiet in a new development on the Stralau peninsula in the middle of Berlin. Due to the proximity to the many sights, the flat is ideal for expats, tourists, commuters and students.
Parking in the area is not that easy, you will find parking spaces, but you have to look for them. We are happy to help you rent a paid parking space, if requested. It is a 5-minute walk to the next train station (S-Ostkreuz) and from there you can get to the hotspots within a few minutes.
