House Rules
Check in hours are 2pm to 5pm. Please call us if you foresee a delay beyond that time frame. Under no circumstances do we accept check-ins later than 9pm. You will be asked for a credit card and a government-issued identity document.
Money and other valuables are brought to Licuala Lodge at the guest’s sole risk. Licuala Lodge accept no liability and shall not be responsible for any loss or damage thereto and guests remain personally responsible for the safekeeping of any such items. Crime is low in Mission Beach; however, we do ask you to lock your room when you leave the premises.
Check out. Our check out time is 10am. Please remember to settle your bill and to leave your key at reception when you leave.
Noise. Please consider other guests by keeping noise in the swimming pool at low level after 8pm, and vacate the Lounge by 10pm. Be mindful whether loud conversations, phone calls or entertainment devices can disturb your neighbouring guests.
Children. Licuala Lodge accepts only guests 18 years old or older.
Pets. As much as we love pets, they are not allowed as they might put wildlife and themselves at risk.
Parties/events. We do not cater for parties or events as our guests are looking for tranquility.
Damages and costs. Notwithstanding any method of payment, the guest is personally liable for all costs, charges or damages incurred during their stay. In the event that any such costs, charges or damages are not paid in full, their responsibility and liability in that regard is not waived or released in any way. Any such damages/charges will be settled by the credit card held on file. All rooms are strictly non-smoking. A cleaning fee of $500 applies to any room where there is evidence that smoking has occurred in it, e.g. smell of smoke. Smoking is only permitted by the pool if no other guests object and an ashtray is used.
