I live in a house from 1901, separated into to units: ********nstairs and one upstairs (me!).
Upstairs you find two doors: the one to your left is your bedroom with access to the bathroom, and to the right you find common areas (living room, kitchen). You are free to use all areas as you please. I am frequently at work or the gym so there is a chance you have the space for yourself.
Please note that past the kitchen is my bedroom. From there is access to the balcony. Feel free to enjoy your meal there but mind the door and keep it shut at all times as the wind is likely to have its way with it.
