+ With the summer heat you may want to set your thermostat to 75-78 degrees every day the outside temperature is 90 degrees or higher. The AC will only cool the rental to approximately 78 to 82 degrees inside when the outside temperature is extremely high. If you lower the thermostat too far in an attempt to beat the heat, it could potentially freeze the AC unit and result in no AC for 24-48 hours to repair the system.
Please also understand that HVAC technicians will be busy increasing response times to HVAC issues.
We recommend keeping doors and windows shut and ceiling fans on running. You may also want to close the blinds and limit using the oven to keep the home cooler during the day.
