Nestled in the green of Mount Cimino, Pontepietra B&B is the ideal place for a naturalistic, relaxing and cultural vacation. Woods, lakes, Etruscan necropolis, Renaissance palaces, spas and public thermal pools are just some of the activities that will make your stay exceptional.
We have three double rooms, each with its own private bathroom. Each room is characterized differently so that our guests can choose the one that best suits their idea of a country vacation. Reservations for the other rooms can be made on the specific listings on this site.
Pontepietra is a three-hectare farmhouse with the land sloping down to a stream that runs through the middle. Numerous centuries-old oaks and chestnut trees make way for an olive grove that climbs the slope overlooking the wide Tiber valley. Large moss-covered rocks are scattered on the ground, and the remains of a 17th-century farmhouse create a very striking image.
The Pontepietra farmhouse was built in three different phases, growing in size according to the agricultural needs of the land. The course of extension work transformed it into a characteristic multi-story farmhouse. The oldest part probably dates back to the 18th century, while the central unit was built in 1939. In the beginning, the ground floor was used as a cattle shelter, and there is also a small cave carved into the living stone on which the house is built.
