Hideout Budget Bed in Shared Space in house on Peninsula

Hi there, are you (not) a kite surfer, looking for a budget night’s stay and be yourself a full 100%? Look no further! My house is located on the Bergse Plaat, a quiet neighborhood surrounded by and cut through by water(ways), offering a lot of bird life and when windy: Kite Surfin’!! Water is everywhere you look or walk, so the neighborhood is very relaxing and slow pace, whereas the Boulevard and centre of Bergen op Zoom are lively with bars, shops, parks and restaurants. Book your room, bed or couch whenever wind is there and skip traffic)))
We will be sharing the open, spacious kitchen with island, as well as the living connected to it, you’ll have free use of coffee maker (and good, good coffee), dishwasher and all kitchen amenities. Shared bathroom on 1st floor with shower (and seperate bath). The kitchen is connected to a large living room, with some private spots to read, listen music, lie down and rest, unwind. As i have been using home sharing sites on my own travels for a few years now, the friendly and cosy atmosphere of private people offering a homestay & share the experience got me excited to put my own place up too and connect at home in 2024! I will give you the privacy and space you need, offering to share as well if you like.

If you wanna spend as little money as possible with maximum yield, you’re in the right place, use whatever you find in my fridge, and maybe get an upgrade to the lots of places available to sleep in the house so no worries)) i also have spare matrasses to put on the ground anywhere if you are more persons.

The neighborhood is surrounded by water from 3 sides, popular by (kite) surfers and offering great walks, beach bars, fishing spots along the Binnenschelde lake and biking, e.g. to the Kreekraksluizen.
There is a Boulevard with 5 eateries, the indoor swimming pool “de Schelp”, a Jumbo super, bakery, pizza place and artificial beach.
At 15” walk: a cinema, fish monger, a shopping center “de Zeeland” with AH. Historical centrum at 20 minutes’ walking distance or cycle your way there in 10 minutes. In summer and spring time, you may want to visit Bergse Heide, a small swimming lake with sandy forest beach in the woods, for sunbathing. Mountain bikers will also find trails through the woods in that area. If you like, breakfast can be prepared for you and served, butnin that case i ask a small fee, so no need to scramble for food before you go to explore, it will be waiting for U as you wake up.

“At home”, of course you are free to be on your own, I can be discrete, leaving you by yourself even when i’m home, but my motto is: make my day, i’ll make yours. Btw: i have a stubborn ginger cat we also need to be friendly with)).

For those who like to see Antwerp: during weekends i can offer a ride for a very small fee there and back (15 eur one way), no matter what time of day or night.
