Our home is halfway between charming Historic Downtown Savannah and the fun beaches of Tybee Island, about 7 miles either way.
Nearby you will find grocery stores, pharmacies, bars and restaurants for your convenience, none of which are within walking distance.
On our tranquil neighborhood island, you can ride your bike or go on a stroll safely and secure, away from major traffic interference. Across the street is Turner's Creek, and the sunsets in the neighborhood are fantastic!
The house has a large front yard on a quiet street, so plenty of space for parking, and before you arrive, we will send you instructions of how to get into the house at your convenience.
We are pleased to say this is a gay owned, smoke-free, two-story, custom built home by one of the island's developers back in the 1970's, however, mostly remodeled recently. We live in this house, but list it on ******** when I go out of town.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the property (free of charge).
Pets and Children: currently, on this listing, we are not allowing any pets. Sorry! The house is not child proof, so make provisions if you plan on bringing a child or children.
Also downstairs is the Kitchen, Dining Room, and Living Room, which has a smart tv. If you plan to use the kitchen, you must bring your own food and drinks - we do not provide that.
There's a large grassy back yard, with a privacy fence, so you can enjoy your quiet time. However, please note, there is a Modern Day Carriage House on the back of the property and so there will be other ******** guests coming in and out of the back yard.
We are on a septic tank. Only natural waste and TP in toilet. And, no food down sink.
Some of the flowers and trees on property include: banana trees, palm trees, begonias, impatiens, lantana, bridal veil, Mexican heather, marigolds, ******** dragons, petunias, gloxinias, african violets, tons of ferns, confederate jasmine, morning glories, mimosa tree, azaleas, gardenias, walking iris', hibiscus, dogwood, rose plants and confederate rose trees, to name a few; all of this on 1/2 acre.
Once you reserve the house, you will receive a door code, that will let you in and out at your convenience, 24/7. There is a driveway for parking. Do not park on grass. Do not use grass as a turn around.
Even though you're here as a guest in our house , you are more than welcome to make yourself at home.
We now have Ecobee3. It comes with remote sensors. This home has a remote temperature sensor for each room. You'll probably see the white cube style sensor on the clear plastic stand. There is a thermostat in the downstairs hallway. Do not close vents. The vents are set so that the house is the same on both floors. DO NOT adjust vents.
Note: this is a two-story home, therefore it has stairs. It is not handicap accessible and not child proof.
