We have a well set up spare room / work space in our appartment. The room has a sofa bed that folds out into a standard double, and it is super comfortable.
You will have access to your own bathroom. The space is set up with a desk that you can have use of, and there is a huge window with views out over the north of London. It is a beautiful, light and comfortable room in a modern flat in a new devlopment.
The appartment is very spacious and has a good sized living room / dining room / kitchen that you are welcome to use, with access to a good sized balcony. We are on the 8th floor so get lots of natural light and have a collection of beautiful plants that we love!
We also share our home with an adorable little rascal of a dog - a tiny poodle mix with lots of character who loves to make new friends and cuddle up on the sofa.
We are also co-parenting a beautiful and happy baby who spends weekends with us.
We are both health focused, non smokers and vegetarian/mostly plant based, so no eating meat in the house!

There is LGBTQIA+ nightlife in the nearby Chequers pub, and the female and non-binary comedy nights at Crate.
Being on the Victoria line (very frequent, very fast, 24hrs at weekends) we are super well connected to the rest of London, and are connected via buses and overground train lines to the rest of East London. You can easily access the bigger LGBTQIA+ scenes in Dalston, Soho and Vauxhall.
There is hidden and unofficial but very active gay naked sunbathing at both Walthamstow marshes and Whipps Cross, both a short walk away, and we can give you detailed instructions on how to find both locations!
For coffee/cafe lovers we have a range of speciality coffe joints and artisan bakeries within a few minutes walk of the appartment.
For nature lovers we have the nature reserve of Walthamstow Wetlands about 10 minutes walk, and the Walthamstow/Hackney marshes conservation areas a little further along the same road. We are also about 20 minute walk from Whipps Cross and the beginnings of Epping Forest.
For food lovers there is a range of amazing restaurants including some of the best Japanese, Turkish, and Pizza that I have eaten.
For culture lovers there is the William Morris museum and Soho Theatre East will be opening soon. There are also a range of events including comedy nights at the Crate, a couple of minutes walk from the appartment, and more at the Big Penny Social about 20 minutes walk or a short bus ride away.
For beer lovers there is the new 'beer mile' in nearby Blackhorse Road area of Walthamstow, with a range of independent, small breweries and there sample rooms.
For gym lovers there is a Gym Group on the high street and a couple of Better (municipal) leisure centres with swimming pools a short bus ride away.
The local high street is about a 3 minute walk and has a range of supermarkets and high street stores (TK Maxx, JD Sports, Body Shop etc), as well as hosting Europe's longest street market and Sunday farmers markets, selling clothing, food, crystals, plants, homewares and basically anything you could ever want!
Walthanstow is very much London and has all the great things London has to offer, while being a bit less hectic and a bit gentler. Our place is a great respite from the madness of the city!

We are vegetarian so no meat please! We both work full time and are pretty quiet so no wild late nights! We are more likely to get up early and do some yoga and take the dog for a good walk.
We don't drink much but are OK with people who enjoy drinks in moderation.
