Welcome to our home. A large and spacious 4 bed Victorian terrace that is being lovingly restored.
You will have a private bedroom with a large window, a comfortable double bed with a brand new Emma mattress, wardrobe space, bespoke bedside lights, Alexa and usb sockets for charging of your phones, tablets etc. The guest room is at the back of the house so you will not be disturbed by any road noise. In fact the room is very quiet.
You will share our bathroom, but as it has two showers you will have use of your own shower for the duration of your stay. There is a downstairs toilet also for convenience.
We are fortunate to have two comfortable living spaces. You can enjoy exclusive use of the Snug room whilst Steve and I are in the main living room or vice versa. The main room is equipped with smart TV, usb charging sockets, Sky TV, Alexa speaker.
The Snug is kitted out for music listening, reading and relaxing. I’ve got lots of plants to help calm the mind and refresh the air quality. It’s a great room to be in, quiet and peaceful and overlooking the rear of the property.
You will have full use of our kitchen which also has a large table and 4 kitchen stools. Fully kitted out with, air fryer, combi micro/oven/steamer. kettle, fridge, freezer, nespresso machine, dualit 4 slice toaster, Smart TV and of course another Alexa speaker (can you tell we like music in our house).
We have our own private back garden which is not overlooked. It’s work in progress so isn’t fabulous yet…but still plenty of space for you to sit out and hopefully enjoy some sunshine. You are also welcome to smoke whilst in the garden. Regrettably we do not allow smoking inside our home. Thanks for your understanding.
The house is close to takeaways, restaurants, pubs and local convenience shop that also sells a good selection of beers and wines. Within 5 minutes walk there is a large Tesco Express.
We are just a short 10 minute stroll from Rock Ferry Train station. From here you can take the local Merseyrail services to Liverpool (only 4 short stops). You can also get trains to historic Chester directly from Rock Ferry.
A 15 mins walk will lead you to Port Sunlight that was built by Lever Brothers in 1888 to accommodate their workers in the soap factory. There are over 900 grade II listed buildings and is lovely to walk around. On your way to Port Sunlight you will pass the Oval Sports Centre which is where Chariots of Fire was filmed to represent The Colombes Olympic Stadium in Paris (where the famous 4 minute mile took place in 1924).
We are also right on top of the wonderful River Mersey where you can enjoy great walks along the river and view the Majestic Liverpool waterfront. There is a lovely restaurant “The Refreshment Rooms” down by the river (our favourite) which has superb food and you can sit outside and watch the world go by. Next door to that is Rock Park which is also a lovely place to walk around and is like stepping back in time with the Victorian gas lights.
Steve and I do work shifts, but if we are about we will be more than happy to assist with directions, recommendations and any other help you may need to make your stay here on The Wirral memorable.
We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you into our home.
By the way we have a lovely kitty , Lily. She is very gentle and likes to spend her days watching the world go by from the window seats!
The house is protected by a 24/7 monitored alarm system which includes fire alarms. There is an outside door camera and one in the hall and landing. There are none in any of the rooms.

Please note that we are also listed on ********. So whilst your dates may seem available, i will only be able to confirm once I've checked the other calendar. I do try to keep both up to date but occasionally something might be missed. I have noticed that you might find lower fees through that site so may be able to save money.
We want you to feel comfortable whilst staying in our home. All we ask is that you keep the front door closed so our cat can’t get out onto the street. If you go out whilst we are out, we will ask you to set the alarm system and will show you how to do it.
Please no extra visitors without checking with us first.
If you’re going to be returning late in the evening please let us know to avoid any problems with the alarm.
We are a very easy going and open minded couple. We are not prudish is anyway and want people to enjoy their time here and feel comfortable. If naturism is your way of life we respect that. Please feel free to be naked within your spaces and upstairs walking to and from the bathroom (as we do in the night) etc. For any other areas we would appreciate that you check in with us first. Whilst not directly overlooked, the house does front onto a road with people walking by and the kitchen can be seen by our elderly neighbour.
Other than that, please enjoy your stay and we look forward to meeting you 😉
