Our basement flat is well-appointed with a full kitchen, a Nespresso machine, and a cozy shared porch, perfect for unwinding. We (and our two friendly dogs, Robbie and Daphne) live upstairs, and while some noise might transfer, we’re respectful and considerate hosts. We’re excited to welcome guests who want to relax, share a drink, and enjoy the city we're proud to call home.
Be sure to check out the year-round Farmers’ Market every Saturday in Columbia Heights/Mount Pleasant, just a short walk away. You’ll find locally sourced produce and more. Major grocery stores like Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods are also within a 15-minute walk.
Please note that our flat is a finished basement with one lower beam. It may be a bit snug for some, but as a 5'11" host, I’ve never had any issues!

From our house, you can easily walk to some of our favorite spots, including Thurst Lounge, Crush, Trade, Number 9, Pitchers, A League of Her Own, Kiki, Licht Cafe, Bunker, Up Roar, Larry’s Lounge, and JR’s. For more options, it’s just a quick bike or cab ride to Little Gay Pub Green Lantern and others.
The nearby neighborhoods, including Logan Circle, Dupont Circle, and Adams Morgan, are super gay, where the rainbow flag is a common sight. We're in a good spot for a laid-back evening or a lively night out.

No smoking in the flat. You are welcome to smoke on the porch.
Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM out of respect for our neighbors.
Pets: Please do not bring your pets :)
Zero parties or events: We love that you're here to enjoy DC, but we ask that you keep the space for relaxation and not for hosting gatherings.
Guests: Only the confirmed number of guests in your booking may stay overnight.
Respect the shared spaces: The porch is shared, so feel free to enjoy it, but be mindful of noise and tidiness.
Check-out is by 11 AM to allow us time to prepare for the next guest.
Be considerate of the fact that we live upstairs and may be around from time to time. We always do our best to keep noise to a minimum and appreciate the same courtesy from our guests.
