Our clothing optional casa is a quieter alternative from the bustling beach scene BUT still access to the beaches within 25 minutes or less (14 km away). We are a 5.5 sq m finca in a newly renovated Casa off Route 616 between Naranjito and Quepos. We are a spiritual retreat dedicated to "holding space" for the gay community specializing in tantra, Reiki energy healing, and Kundalini yoga.
We are on a former finca lot of 5.5K square meters in Barrio Lourdes, Quepos. Our property is lush and green with an old piña garden, two old mango trees, 3 old orange trees and lots of newly planted pipas, guanabanas, cacao, figs, yuca, 6 new orange trees, and much more. The house has not only been renovated but retrofitted so that the first floor is now an apartment for the owners while on the second floor for guests are 3 bedrooms, a Reiki/massage room, shared bath and a shared terrace. All with a separate access at the side of the house. We have all kinds of birds here: Macaws, toucans, lovebirds, etc. Along with the usual iguana or two falling out of a palm tree nearby. In the distance, you can hear monkeys calling and there is a beautiful view of the Tallamancan mountains in the north.
This SHARED room known as the VAM Room (to signify the Sacral Chakra), contains 2 plush, new handmade teak bunkbeds with the lower beds in full size and the upper beds in twin. THIS LISTING IS FOR A TWIN-SIZED TOP BUNK. The room has two teak nightstands, two chair, a spacious handmade teak armoire with plenty of shelfs, a bar for hanging your clothes and a mirror embedded in the center. The room has 2 lamps, a ceiling fan (also with a light), and an air conditioner. This room shares a bathroom with 2 other bedrooms. If the shared bathroom is busy, guests can use the owner's full bath downstairs.
Guests have a separate access at the south side of the house, with a separate entry and staircase up to the second floor. Guests will be given a key to the entry at the side and to their room next to the shared full bathroom. Guests also have access to the YAM Room (Green Room) for meditation, personal yoga, or have a massage or Reiki treatment, if desired. Massage and Reiki treatments are a separate cost at $100 an hour.
For citizens from any of the 7 Central American countries (Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatamala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama), we offer an extra discount and you can message us directly here or visit our website.

The beaches near Manual Antonio Park, especially Esperillos and Playitas, have been a popular haven for the LGBTQ+ community for many years and they are only 14 km away from us. Quepos and Manual Antonio have a bevy of great restaurants, tours (nature/wildlife), sporting activites (zip lining, river rafting, parachute gliding), and daily cruise excursions out of Vez Pela Marina. No one in Manuel Antonio or Quepos are willing to declare themselves as a "gay bar" but popular ones like Drunken Monkey and El Patio de Café Milagro market themselves as "gay friendly." To be honest, everyone here is very gay friendly and it is because the gay Tico community of San Jose come here to getaway and party near the beach for the weekend.
Our casa is only 5 minutes from Quepos Airport (XQP) and we will be happy to pick you up when you arrive. It is highly recommended to have a 4x4 SUV if you are planning to explore the coast and mountains of this lush, beautiful, tropical country and there is a really great Alamo car rental at the edge of Quepos if you want to rent one.
A favorite (and inexpensive) restaurant that is VERY gay-friendly is Tentación in Quepos, near the Quepos boardwalk. They offer a great breakfast, including a typical Tico desayuno with pinto and plátanos, and for lunch they offer delicious wraps and sandwiches. The seafood around this area is inexpensive and ALWAYS fresh, anywhere you go.
Just north of us about 40 minutes via Rio Seco is Rainmaker which is a spectacular rainforest and waterfall park with ladder bridges that climb high into the towering trees so you can have a bird's eye view of spectacular waterfalls and nature.
Vez Pela Marina in Quepos is very popular with tourists and offers more upscale restaurants, bakeries, convenient markets, travel agencies and boat/fishing excursions.
Every Friday 12 noon to Saturday 12 noon is the Quepos Farmer's Market behind Fire Station where you can buy a wide selection of fresh fruit, seafood, chicken, meat from a German butcher, cheese, bread, cakes, cookies, souvenirs, jewelry and cosmetics made from local honey.
