Places to go out to eat and have fun we suggest the following: The 40 Cañones Restaurant (breakfast, lunch and dinner is a good place with excellent service) At breakfast ask for the motuleños eggs, they are delicious! Sunset Restaurant (for lunch and dinner and they have tables on the beach) international food Maramao Restaurant (the best Italian cuisine in the place, our favorite place for pasta dinner) The seafood pasta marinara is delicious! Nohoch Kay Restaurant The most famous for its seafood tacos and sea food in general. They have a gratin fish fillet stuffed with shellfish that is well worth a visit. Beach club Pitaya (To spend the day sunbathing with good food and cool music in a beautiful beach, they ask for a minimum consumption of $200 pesos per person and you can use their facilities) For water sports: In Mahahual there are many places (for snorkeling, kayaking, diving and Paddle) right next to the apartment on the boardwalk at the height of the wooden pier you will find a place with everything you need for water sports. If you like diving Mahahual is the best place, it is the gateway to Banco Chinchorro, an underwater reserve that attracts divers from all over the world for being the best on the planet in terms of biodiversity. Near Mahahual: On your way to or from the city of Chetumal and Mahahual, be sure to visit the archaeological center of ChacChoben, it is a beauty (the best kept secret) it is inside the virgin jungle with a lot of wildlife and without the tumults of other places more crowded, it will only take a small detour of 15 min. CHECK IN starts at 3 pm. If your stay is longer than a week, cleaning will be done in the middle of your stay with a change of linen. In any case, if you want linens to be changed with cleaning service included, it will be possible to do so with an additional cost of $30 USD per event.
Fresh water is scarce in Mahahual, so the jacuzzi is NOT in operation and is NOT included in the condo services. We ask you to please always check that there are no faucets in any bathroom or sink open, as well as make responsible use of the available water. the amount of water per apartment is LIMITED a single bath leak or misuse could leave them without water for the rest of the day. Whenever you go out, leave the doors of the terrace and the main bedroom closed, the rain in the Caribbean can always take us by surprise even if the sky is clear, we do not want you to have a bad time with the mattress in the bedroom or the sofa bed in the living room. the curtains with the rain could also be damaged (avoid a charge for damage or replacement).
