The Dam Cottage

LIABILITY
•The person booking accepts full responsibility and liability for everyone in their party including theft, damage and injury.
•The host & property owners are not responsible for any reactions, allergic reactions, sicknesses, or any other health issues that occur during your stay. There is likely pet hair and dander in the house, there are cleaning chemicals in the house.

PETS
•NO CATS, NO FARM ANIMALS. CAGED ANIMALS (Rodents/rabbits/birds/reptiles/etc.) MUST BE APPROVED BEFORE BOOKING.
•Up to 2 Dogs are allowed but each one must be approved by the host before booking. Extra pet fee must be applied in your booking. Please do not allow pets on the furniture, fabrics/linens, beds or bedding or you will be charged for extra cleaning, repairs or total replacement.
•Do not bring your dogs if you cannot keep them on the property or on a leash. The host/property owners are not responsible for any conflicts between you and other pet owners. The bylaws in the RM of LDB and Pinawa state no dogs can be at large. This means kept on a leash or confined to a property.
•Don't leave pets locked in a room.
•Clean up ALL your pet's waste 💩
•Don't bring pets that are known to chew, scratch, jump on furniture, jump on windows or doors, have accidents in the house.

FIRES INDOORS/OUTDOORS
•Keep the outside fire manageable and in the fire pit.
•The wood burning stove is currently out of order and cannot be used, we are in the process of repairing it and will update this accordingly. Along with adding a monoxide detector.
•Do not burn incense, candles(not even unscented), or anything else.

CLEANLINESS
•Do not wash the bedding or towels, the cleaner will pick up used laundry if requested. DO NOT strip the beds at the end of your stay.
•Use dark colored towels/cloths for outside activities and makeup. Cleaning rags and buckets are in the laundry closet. If anything is stained due to not following rules, you will be charged to replace each item.
•Use the black BBQ mats for grilling on the BBQ. Remove all food from the BBQ and scrub the grill before check-out.
•This is my home, your home and other guests home, please treat it with respect and tidy up after yourself. The cleaner gets paid regardless of how clean you leave the cottage. But if you leave the cottage in a condition which the cleaner has to work extra long, not allowing our next guest to be able to enter the cottage at check-in time, you will be charged for the extra time for the cleaner and the arriving guest.
•Be good to our earth, don't litter. Some litter blows in from the crowds of people coming to The Dam, we try to stay on top of it and appreciate guests who pick it up when they see it so it doesn't blow into the field or forest.

•Every guest and pet must be booked. There are security cameras OUTSIDE that are used to count # of guests and pets.
•No extra guests after 11pm unless their stay is paid for through ********.
•No parties or gatherings UNLESS event is discussed with host. There are extra fees and rules for events.

SMOKING AND DRUGS
•No drugs allowed on property.
•Smoking (tobacco, marijuana, vape) allowed OUTSIDE only, away from the entrances. USE PROVIDED SAND TIN FOR BUTTS.
