About the Place Initially in English, this text was translated via a machine translation service and may contain inaccuracies or errors.
A breathtaking property tucked into the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Brookwood House is an environmentally conscious retreat space designed to bring peace and relaxation to the lives of its guests.
Nearly 7,500 square feet of spacious, warming energy await. We've curated the ideal space to unplug, unwind, and reconnect. Brookwood is an ideal setting for art, music, and simple rest with your family and friends. We have a large pool and a creek for swimming.
Pool season May 15 - Sept 15
The space
We love hosting but are very particular about who we allow into our space. Unfortunately one of our biggest issues has been a couple of disrespectful guests who trashed our place. We hope that whoever shares this space will treat it with respect. We have created the space as a home for family reunions, weddings, and yoga retreats, NOT AS A PARTY PLACE.
If this isn’t applicable to you and is something you are looking for please continue with your booking. Additionally, feel free to reach out if you have any questions. We look forward to hosting you.
Adam and Lizza
PLEASE NOTE: The pool is open in the summer season Mid May - Mid September. We are offering weekly rental, book in on a Monday and out on a Sunday. That is a 6 day week, as we need a full day between guests to get the house ready for the next guests with a full Covid compliant cleaning.
Cozy places abound in the corners of this lovely house, where you can relax and unwind while watching the abundant wildlife of these fertile mountains.
We have a room on the main floor of the home that we have reserved for those who create. You don't have to be a seasoned expert, either: if you want to spend some time engaging with, or awakening your creative side, we welcome you to enjoy the materials in the art room or use it as a space to read, write, or play music.
Upstairs, there's a secret room that's great for kids, big and small, to hide out and play. But you have to get here to find it, and you're not allowed to tell!
Guest access
There is space for several cars and there's a long driveway big enough for kids to bike in the space.
Other things to note
Please note this is not a party place. Be respectful of that.

Property Rules Initially in English, this text was translated via a machine translation service and may contain inaccuracies or errors.
Fragrance-Free
We recognize the hazards caused by scented products, so to keep a safe and healthy
environment for all, we have a fragrance-free policy here at Brookwood. Fragrances in
personal care products, air fresheners, candles, cleaning products, and laundry products
(especially dryer sheets and ‘fabric softeners’) adversely affect human health. Scientific
research links fragrance ingredients to a variety of serious health issues. We ask that all
guests and visitors refrain from using scented laundry, personal care, and cleaning
products.
Our goal is to create a safe haven for those with sensitivities that prevent them from
enjoying many other establishments. Try it, your body and mind with thank you!
Although we do our very best to require all guests and visitors adhere to our fragrance
free policy, we cannot give a comprehensive guarantee that the environment will be
completely free of irritants to those who have sensitivities. If you have a very severe
allergy, please note that we can do our very best to ensure guidelines are followed.
Unfortunately, we can't control the behavior of other guests, and therefore can't be held
liable for any reactions you may experience.

you can access your key in a lock box on the property. Contact the Innkeeper for the
