The campsite at Locust Grove features a space of soft, lush grass behind the farmhouse surrounded by locust, buckeye, wild cherry, and dogwood trees--making for beautiful spring and fall views and cool summers. The space includes a fire pit, an electric light post that includes two outlets, free WIFI, and shared use of the full bath inside.
Locust Grove is an 1850s farm in the midst of being restored to her former glory. The homestead features an artesian spring, wild raspberry and blackberry thickets, an abundance of native flowering trees, a chestnut barn, gardens and an apiary.
Also, due to the secluded nature of the area all lifestyles are welcome. Feel free to message host to confirm, but naturists, lifestyle groups, kinks, etc are always welcome.

Though camping, guests can access the shared restroom in the house as well as the kitchen--although we ask that you only use the kitchen as necessary as the host will also need it. Limited camping gear (hotdog sticks, etc) may be available. Please check with the host in advance to request any specific items.
Please note that you will not be able to park beside the campsite. Parking is below the house, near the garage, while camping is behind the house (as seen in photographs). It is not a large or difficult hill, but may not be ideal for all.
Please note that the only amenities provided by the host are toilet paper and hand soap. As with traditional campgrounds, guests will be required to bring their own linens, towels, pillows, firewood, etc.
While there is no official noise curfew, noise can travel on the hill the farm sits on so please do not be too loud (shouting, etc) after 11 PM. Smoking is permitted outdoors, but please clean up all butts. No drugs, pets, or visitors allowed at all. There are beehives on the property, so bring an epi-pen if you are allergic (though guests have never been stung).
