We are a small rural campsite situated on the edge of the Perigord national park. We are hosting a well equipped, two bedroom Glamping Safari Tent unit that can sleep five people as it equipped with a Double bed with a Single Bunk above and a Folding Double Sofa Bed along with a range of furniture to ensure your stay is comfortable. There is a fully functional kitchen including Microwave cooker, fridge and plenty of outside seating. Bottled Water is provided with the Tent but washing up and Showers are in a Sanitary Block shared by other guests.

The location offers a perfect base for touring and day trips to the local attractions and markets of the area. Thiviers has a local produce market on Saturday mornings which is as much of a social event as it is for purchasing supplies. Brantome a few kilometres away is known as "the Venice of the Perigord" and is an excellent day out for everyone to enjoy canoeing or just stay in the cafe's and bars by the river. The alleyways, shops and restaurants will provide a true taste of french life in the Dordogne.
This modern glamping tent will normally sleep 5 adults in comfort and with the addition of a folding travel cot for an infant if requested, thereby accommodating a family of 6.
The unit is equipped with a Luxury Folding Double that can be used as seating during the day. Bedroom 2 has a Double bed with a Single Bunk above capable of supporting an adult. Along with a range of furniture to ensure your stay is comfortable there is a fully functional kitchen including microwave cooker and full size fridge.
Inside and outside seating is provided to enable meals or drinks on the terrace or inside.
Situated in Dordogne this accommodation is just 6km from the nearest town (Thiviers) and close to many of the Perigord tourist attractions of the Dordogne. The tent is situated on a small 6 pitch campsite that has a shared modern heated amenities block where you will find 2 showers, 2 toilets, 2 wash basins and hairdryer.
On site we have a small playground, an above ground swimming pool. We also have Wifi across the whole area. A ten minute walk away is The Fiddlers Rest which serves meals. Breakfast can be arranged and we have a fridge with soft drinks and ice cream (honesty box)
If required, guests can book a full continental breakfast (see photo) for 7€ per person. The breakfast will include Fresh Bread, Pastries, Eggs, Yoghurt, Butter, preserves, Juice's with coffee or tea delivered to the tent.
The owner and her husband live onsite so are available for much of the day
