Jo’s Dry Cabin, here at Taiga Tooth, B&B, is a good base for your Alaska adventure. Nestled in the woods along the shore of Christiansen Lake, in the Talkeetna chain of lakes, this rustic little cabin comfortably accommodates two guests with a king bed. Air mattresses may be available.
The cabin has electric service, propane stove, microwave, and full size refrigerator. A wood stove provides heat. This is a “dry cabin, as they say around here. The cabin has no interior plumbing. The cabin is served by a privy.
Guests may obtain well water at the main cabin. Shower, washer/dryer (fee) and flush toilet, available there.
Guests are welcome to use the dock. The wood fired banya is also available (fee).

Metropolitan Talkeetna, is about 9K from the cabin. The historic district has some fun little eateries, as well as fine dining. The brew pub, is a great place for people watching while sampling the local suds or liquors.
Wander through the shops, or book your adventure of the day at one of the kiosks. Just a few steps past the end of Main Street, the mighty Susitna River is joined by the Talkeetna, and Chulitna at River Park. Jet boats offer trips up river from their dock by the train trestle.
Talkeetna is an Alaska Railway stop. Board the train here, for a beautiful view of our majestic wild country.
