This beautiful guest bedroom in its own corner of the house has its own newly remodeled, hotel-quality, private bathroom with tiled walk-in shower. The remodeled kitchen features granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and contemporary fixtures. Like few others in East Nashville, the house is thoroughly furnished in a modern style and is only a short walk from downtown nightlife, immense Shelby Park, and the popular bars, restaurants, & shops of creative artsy East Nashville's famous 5 Points area. Private off-street parking, keyless entry, wi-fi, & filtered water on tap are just a few of the amenities you'll enjoy at this top rated, solar power generating listing, saving you more than 30% over staying downtown. Nashville occupancy tax is included in the rate. Not sure how well my availabilities calendar is syncing to my others, so please Inquire about dates you'd like before booking.

The Space – Modern/contemporary interior design. You'll have the guest bedroom with Queen size bed. Sleep late! No maids or pets waking you up or other guests slamming doors. Pillows, sheets, blanket, and towels are provided. You'll have your own private bathroom. Wi-Fi internet available. Security system protects your stuff while you're out. I have washer/dryer if needed. You can do 1 load of laundry for no charge (I have detergent). To clarify, you are renting space in my home, not the whole property. TV, DVD/VHS in room now.

Check-in – Check in time is preferred as 3pm+ but is flexible; afternoons to early evening is preferred. Checkout is preferred between 11am-noon. After booking or as soon as you know, please let me know when and by what method you will arrive so I can make sure I am home to let you in/arrange check in time. If you're from the US, please have a working cell phone. All guests, especially those getting codes ahead of time so they can access the house while I'm at work, are responsible for meeting with me for a proper check-in unless otherwise noted in post-booking communication.

The Area – The house is on Glenview Dr. in a quickly gentrifying neighborhood very close to the interstate, downtown Nashville (about 2 miles), the Greenway (bike, run, walk), and E. Nashville's 5-Points area (bars, restaurants, shops, etc). Grocery store & many cool restaurants are within a short drive or walk. Wal-Mart and the movie theater are about 6 miles away.

Kitchen – There is a spigot for purified water next to the kitchen sink. Feel free to use the kitchen/fridge while you are here, but you will need to buy your own food & clean up after yourself. Short term rentals in TN are not allowed to serve food, so there is no breakfast provided. By-the-bag-dunk-brew coffee & instant coffee are available; ask about these during your check-in.

Bus/Transportation – Bus web site/plot your trips w/ MTA's Trip Planner at ******** (bus does run from/to airport.) Lyft, Uber, Bus, Taxi are available. Bikes are available for rent a 20 minute walk away at Beyond the Edge bar & grill.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
• Walking - As a safety precaution, if you are walking between the house and downtown, use only Glenview/Crutcher Streets to get to get to 1st Street and onto the Pedestrian Bridge (avoid side streets.) As with most areas of Nashville at night, women should always walk accompanied by a man. See the map in the room for more information about walking to downtown Nashville.
• The Wi-Fi password and more bus info are in the guest room. I have no control over the speed of Comcast's Wi-Fi.
• Front door code will be changed after you leave.
• I live here as well, so on rare occasion one of my personal guests may be staying in another room and be in and out of the house.
• I like meeting new people from other countries. Prefer nonsmokers. Especially love foreign visitors.

Kurt was a great host. He left clear instructions, communicated everything and made sure I had everything that I needed. The room is large and the area is quiet but close to nightlife. I mainly chilled because I had a busy few days previous but it was a nice place to hang out. Would book again if I'm out here again.

Kurt was a very detailed, and attentive host. The accommodations were fully 'guest ready', and I appreciated some access to the common areas too. My itinerary was not full so Kurt's good suggestions on activities was welcomed. The location was convenient to all my destinations, and more. I appreciated Kurt's hospitality.
