Buttongrass Retreat is a great place to spend at least two nights so you have time to relax, explore and experience nature. We have set a low nightly rate plus a high cleaning fee. The cleaning fee is only charged once. This means that the longer you stay, the cheaper each night becomes, averaged over your stay. Stay a whole week and you get an additional weekly discount.
You will not miss internet or television here. Your cabin is comfortably catered with full sized fridge, gas cooking facilities, chemical free rainwater, an eco-friendly composting toilet, wood fired heater and a private outdoor bath. Note the limited solar/wind electricity: 240 volt electricity is limited to 300 watts. That is enough to charge a laptop, camera etc but not sufficient to use hairdryer, rice cooker etc.

We recommend that you book at least 2 nights so that you have a whole day to relax, explore and experience nature. Because multi night stays save cleaning costs, the second night onward becomes much cheaper.
