Jason's Saloon is an intricately detailed old western themed masterpiece that sits on a half acre of land and is surrounded in nature with endless wildlife creatures such as many types of birds from humming birds to hawks, chipmunks, squirrels, foxes, raccoons, plethora of deer that come up almost daily and pass right by the windows for easy viewing, and black and brown bears. This cabin is equipped with modern technologies and amenities for a luxurious, convenient, and comfortable stay. There is a seasonal stream at the bottom of the driveway that roars during storms and sporadically during winters. It is centered between 5 different beautiful lakes all within just a few miles drive. It has been said many times that Jason's Saloon should be in magazines and resembles that of a Knott's Berry Farm themed design.
This man cave is equipped with an outdoor cabin style traditionally heated sauna, yes I said sauna (indicated as “hot tub” in the amenities section as the site does not give reference to a sauna), a smart Nest thermostat and smoke detectors, iPod ready 10 disc CD changer AM/FM radio Crosley jukebox, three big flat screen televisions with a Bose theater surround speaker system in the living room, washer and dryer, central heating, a beautiful oxblood red cast iron wood burning fireplace to complement the classic oxblood red leather chesterfield couches and high back chair in the cozy living room, and there are river rock cave showers in the main and downstairs bathrooms. Outdoors there is a charcoal and propane BBQ, tree stump fire pit with vintage style furniture on the patio, a huge picnic table and log seating on the deck, two comfy rope netted hammocks hung between the huge trees on the land to rest and nap in, I am also a massage therapist for those who are interested in an additional spa treatment, and I’m sure I’m forgetting a few more of the numerous relaxing amenities that I have to offer.
I love everything about my neighborhood. The fact that most everything is within walking distance and there is really only one or two neighbors that are close enough to be considered “neighbors”. If you walk down the road to the end where it turns into a dirt road and follow the dirt road past the horse stables, on the right there'll be a downhill driveway to an empty lot where you’ll find a lookout point. On a clear day (no haze at city level) you can see for miles and miles. It's quite an amazing sight on a star-filled night.

The cabin is walking distance to the town of Running Springs where there is a Jensens market and multiple eateries to choose from, gift shops, thrift stores, a candy shop, a park for the kids “or adults” to play, and much much more. There is also a great spot also walking distance just up the 18 called LuluBelle’s. It’s a very cute coffee breakfast and lunch joint. Please go check it out and tell Michelle that Jason from Jason’s Saloon sent you. Michelle often organizes a flea market and live music on the weekends and LuluBelles heavily supports the LGBTQ+ community, so go give them some well deserved love! 🏳️🌈
Jason’s Saloon is also walking distance to Deep Creek “the Narrows” for cliff hiking, skinny dipping, and many other hiking trials in the surrounding areas. Keller Peak is just a few miles drive where you'll find the best views on the entire mountain. Green Valley Lake is the closest lake nearby at a whopping ~4 miles drive. It is a very quaint, quiet and peaceful row boat only lake. The more well known, more eventful, and more touristy lakes are Big Bear Lake and Lake Arrowhead and are just a few more miles down highway 18. Silverwood Lake and Lake Gregory are also beautiful lakes not too far of a drive.

Please respect our friendly mountain neighbors, our home, and the amenities we offer. In our beautiful mountains, noise does travel quite easily, so please be mindful and respectful of the noise level throughout your stay. The other mountain folks and the wildlife would appreciate it! Also, please be sure to shut and lock all windows and doors, draw curtains and blinds, and turn appliances, sauna, and lights off when they are not in use and when you are not occupying the cabin and especially when you check-out. Only leave the sauna on when you are using it and turn it off afterwards when you are finished. This can be a safety hazard if left on and drains electricity quickly. If you are booking in the winter months, please come prepared with a vehicle that will get you through snow safely. A 4WD or AWD vehicle is recommended and it is always suggested to put snow chains/cables/socks on when it is necessary for safety. If CalTrans is checking during severe conditions, they may turn you away if you’re not fully prepared. Though we will help as best we can, owner is not responsible for issues due to weather condition, such as stuck vehicles, chain restrictions, slips or falls, etc. so PLEASE be aware and check the weather conditions and be ultra safe when driving and walking in it.
