PLACES TO VISIT:
Las Piedras
The Rio Gaira flows here in the Rio Arimaca. Bizarre rock formations make natural whirlpools which invite you to a cool refreshment. Las Piedras is also known as the village swimming pool of Minca.
Pozo Azul
A nice walk along the Rio Gaira in direction of El Campano leads to the waterfalls and natural pools of Pozo Azul. If the water is deep enough you can jump from one of the rocks. If you walk further up the river there are other small waterfalls and pools.

Cerro Kennedy
The coronation of this hike is the viewpoint of Los Nevados. From here you can see almost the entire Sierra Nevada, the sea, and in good weather, the two highest mountains in Colombia Pico Cristóbal Colón and Pico Simón Bolívar .
