We are in an area of spectacular natural beauty and the town stands above a natural rocky gorge -The Torrs Riverside Park - the park 'under the town' - which extends to two miles and is a superb place to walk, picnic and learn about the natural and industrial history of the area. Plus it has free outdoor rock-climbing. We have an artisan beer house and a cocktail bar, plus a selection of quaint and gastro pubs scattered in the local hills and villages
New Mills is a Mecca for cyclists & horse riders and is also a centre for artists, designers & craftspersons, hosting lots of Art & Music events.
We are in easy distance of Bakewell, Chatsworth House, Lyme Park, Haddon Hall and many other attractions. Manchester is 30 mins away on the train and is a brilliant thriving and cosmopolitan city.
