I have been in the catering industry for many years and I am a fully trained chef and started life as an apprentice at The Ritz in London but in more recent years have moved into management and have managed large catering organisations here in North Wales.
I have also worked away and spent some years in Bermuda running a seafood restaurant as well as working for a while in South America.
I love the warmth and sunshine so myself and my partner like to spend time in our house in Turkey when we can.
I am also a trained yoga teacher so enjoy an active life which also includes walking and cycling especially as we live in the heart of Snowdonia -we are spoiled for choice!
Having been in catering all my life I like to feel that I know about making guests feel welcome. As a guest myself I'm really accommodating as I'm not one to sit around waiting for meals to arrive so you may find me in the kitchen doing more than a guest might be expected!
As far as wise words of wisdom are concerned I have borrowed a motto from tv's Alex Polizzi which I really liked - there's no point in trying to polish a turd!
