I'm an artist who works in Visual Effects, and would love to meet other artists, nerds, freaks, and geeks around the world.
Although I do enjoy sightseeing, as a 15+ year New York resident, I prefer to get the real feel of a city by getting to know the people who live there and do what they do., rather than visit typical tourist traps.
In my home town, I've gotten used to living independently, and will be quite able to be left to my own devices in a new area, tho if the host is available for guidance, I do welcome it.
