Over the past 10 years, I have has organized and run several major cultural events in Iceland. I was the first festival director of DesignMarch, Iceland’s most important annual design festival and now acts as the festival’s chairman. I directed the Ísafjördur-based rock festival Aldrei fór ég suður in its founding years, RIFF – The Reykjavik International Film Festival, was project manager at the Reykjavik Art Festival as well as Ting, Nordic Art Festival and Tectonics Reykjavik Music Festival. I´ve been the managing director for Vid Djupid since 2006.
I worked as a project manager for the Iceland Symphony Orchestra overseeing new projects and development as well as he acted as the orchestra’s concert director one season.
Originally from Ísafjördur, but live and work in Reykjavik, Iceland.
