Everything you need is here with the National Park entrance in your backyard and downtown Joshua Tree just up the street. Located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood by the park. This artsy homestead is ideal for relaxing getaways, artist trips, yoga retreats, family get-togethers or a low-key reunion with friends. This is not ideal for large or lively groups.
Dine by the pool as cotton tails scurry by and then enjoy a hike to the National Park. “Coyote Trail” is surrounded by mountains in Monument Manor. An impeccably re-imagined midcentury ranch homesteader embodying the “old Hollywood desert explorer” vibe infused with modern updates, organically designed by artists. As the setting sun sets the sky ablaze, bask in the spectacular symphony of sounds, as native birds nest in the cherry trees in the back yard. Fresh herbs picked from the “permaculture” garden may be the ingredients you need for your culinary delights, a fully stocked kitchen and BBQ area offers it all for entertainment. And when the lights go down, soak your worries away in the spa. Plenty of space to stretch and meditate in the outdoor paved common areas. You will sleep on organic beds, Oeko Tex/organic linens, in a home decorated and sourced from local artisans keeping in mind eco-conscious living. Highlights include:

This home is designed by artists for those that appreciate the finer things in life. With high-end amenities including: electric car charger, record player with bluetooth connection, book collection, temperature controlled outdoor shower/tub, towel rack warmers, ponchos & robes, reverse osmosis alkaline mineral water filtration, organic soaps/shampoos by Shikai. Organic coffee station, Chemex Pour-over and Ninja coffee/tea cold brew and Cappucino maker, Vitamix blender, Le Crueset cookware, and so so much more...

SLEEPING:
With 5 beds and 3 baths, there’s plenty of space for everyone to lounge and relax. We use organic sustainable linens and bedding.

Bedroom 1 (Primary Bedroom) — King size bed with private en-suite bathroom (Awara organic mattress)

Bedroom 2 (Rattan Room) — Queen size bed (Avocado organic mattress)

Bedroom 3 (Palm Room) — Queen size bed (Avocado organic Alpaca topper and Needle mattress)

Bedroom 4 (The Den) — Comfy Queen sofa couch from CB2 & Twin XL daybed with en-suite bathroom (Avocado organic mattress for daybed)

Living Room — Sofa couch that converts into a King size bed.

OUTDOORS:
You simply won’t believe the outdoor space - it’s like your own private resort! Gorgeously landscaped with plenty of private corners for alone time during the day and an outdoor dining table big enough for everyone to come together at night. Smooth river rock borders help suggest spaces while providing that all important moment of Zen. Where will you spend your day? Lounging around with a good book in the cabanas, catching some desert rays in the pool, admiring the views from the secluded trio of hammocks, or enjoying the shady swinging chairs of the “Suspended Living Room.” A grill, outdoor sink, shower and tub mean you’ll almost never have to go inside! Solar lights keep the fun outside even after the sunsets so you can cozy up by one of our fire pits for s’mores and stargazing.

POOL & SPA
If you wish to heat the pool, there are additional charges dictated by the seasonal high cost of fuel/energy in the high desert. Please inquire in advance as the pool may take a full day to fully heat. We will have it heated upon your arrival. The SPA is always heated up to 104F and incurs no extra charges to be kept on.

FEATURES:
This is a Smart Home equipped with e-locks, Smart LG TV 60” TV, (Netflix, HBO, NFL Sports Package), solar powered outdoor lights, and fastest wifi in the area (15mbps). There is a workspace and a printer is available. The kitchen and bathrooms are fully equipped with all of your cooking and travel necessities.
Half of the property is gated and very private while the other half is open wild desert. Right out your door you will be surrounded by Cooper mountains. The dirt roads and trails, in our neighborhood Monument Manor, are ideal for long scenic safe walks. You may hear horses while staying at the property from a near by horse rescue ranch. At night while tucked in bed listen to the yelping coyotes. Monument Manor is the closest neighborhood to Joshua Tree’s Park entrance and it’s at the highest elevation in Joshua Tree.
VENDORS:
Please note that pool & spa service is every Tuesday and Friday between 11am-3pm. They will not enter the home but need to access the backyard.

FAMILY & PETS:
We are family and dog friendly! Children 2 years old and above must be included as part of the total guest count. Please send us your dog's breed and age for consideration. We will request a $100 cleaning & companion fee per pet and ask you to agree to the pet rules. Please see our House Rules for more information.

EXTRA GUESTS:
Guest count must be the same as on the reservation. Keep in mind there is an added $100/night Usage & Amenity fee (plus booking fees & taxes) per guest over the 4th to cover extra cleaning and amenity usage. Any day guests must be approved prior to arrival. Day guests must leave by 10pm. Children are considered as part of the total guest count.

PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF OUR NEIGHBORS! Follow our Good Neighbor Policy of no outside noise after 10pm and before 8am. Guests must refrain from any outdoor music, noise or other disruptions that may cause a disturbance to the community during quiet hours. Failure to respect quiet hours may result in cancellation of your reservation without refund.

RESPECT:
There are strict county ordinances regarding excessive noise and light pollution after 10pm. Please respect our neighbors, and refrain from loud noises and outdoor music by 9pm. Home is equipped with a decibel monitoring sensor located inside and outside of the home to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Removing the decibel monitor will result in a full security deposit loss. Sink into the sounds of desert solitude, quiet nights and quiet stars...

CHERISH:
Some of the things visitors to the high desert cherish the most are clean air, mesmerizing night skies and the abundance of wildlife and fauna. Cigarette butts, trash and food left on the ground can hurt our precious ecosystem. 150 acres burned down the road because of one cigarette.

CLEANING:
Health & safety is our number one priority. Our in-house cleaning team is trained on CDC and WHO protocols. We take extra measures to ensure the home is sanitized and safe before every arrival. For this reason we aren’t able to offer early check-ins or late check-outs. Thank you for understanding!

PHOTOSHOOTS & VIDEOS:
If you’re interested in doing a photoshoot or shooting a video, please let us know what it is for. If approved, we have an additional fee for licensing and usage.

WILDLIFE:
You’re surely guaranteed to encounter wildlife on your stay including families of Quail, rare Albino lizards, insects, snakes, squirrels and the endangered kangaroo mice.

NO SMOKING:
No smoking or burning candles. This is a non-smoking home. Any and all smoking should be kept outdoors at least 15 feet away from any exterior doors. There will be a $250 charge for anyone not honoring this guideline.

POOL AND HOT TUB:
Please note that pool heat is not included. Please inquire about the additional energy costs for pool heat if you'd like it heated. Energy costs vary based on the season. We provide a 7-person hot tub for your enjoyment (heat included!).

Home is equipped with a decibel monitoring sensor located inside and outside of the home to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Removing the decibel monitor will result in a full security deposit loss.

DEPOSIT OR WAIVER:
Our bookings are protected by SUPERHOG, our trust and safety partner. Guests must verify themselves through SUPERHOG after the booking is confirmed, which only takes less than a minute and is required prior to arrival. Guests will be asked to put down a refundable $500 deposit (minus a $15 processing fee) or a non-refundable $35 damage waiver that covers any damage up to $500. Guests will be contacted directly by SUPERHOG via text with a URL link to start the verification process.

EV CHARGER:
There is an EV charger on the left side of the home when facing the front entrance. There is also a public EV charging station nearby at Joshua Tree Distillery, which allows charging for up to 2 hours per day.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT:
Saturday check-ins and check-outs are not allowed. We may grant an exception to this for last-minute reservations.

LACK OF CELLULAR COVERAGE:
You will notice that cell service is hard to come by in our secluded desert setting. Don't worry—consider it an invitation to unplug and fully immerse yourself in the natural beauty around you. We recommend planning ahead to make the most of this serene escape from the digital world.

BEES: this is the time of year for bees so they may be spotted in the backyard but they are easily movable by splashing some water in their direction
