It's the unique mid-century architecture that sets this 4 BR/2BA Frankfort home apart. Spacious, and graciously appointed with every comfort and convenience, it sleeps 8 guests comfortably.
It also shares a deep sloping lot with a sharp, newly constructed 2BR/1BA cottage on the hill, to the rear of the property. ( See more details on Deer Run below ) Open light with room for everyone to gather together.

This home has seen extensive renovations over the years since it was built in the 1950's. The main, ground floor entrance opens to a family room-type arrangement, with bedroom (Queen Bed), and bathroom to the rear, and to the right, a flight of stairs leads to the main level.

The open floorplan, with lots of natural light, has a living room, 2 dining areas (one more formal that seats 8, one more casual for 4), a large fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms (two with Queen Beds, one with 2 twin beds), and a full bathroom.
A large deck with a gas grill, 2 seating arrangements, and a fire pit on the upper lawn with seating.
Ample parking in front of the house, off the street.

Note: Firewood is not provided. However, there are many local firewood stands along the roads, and it can be purchased at nearby gas stations and grocery store.

Deer Run is the 2 story cottage on the same property -up the hill, which backs up to a reserve where deer roam freely and visit often. 2 BR/1BA, full kitchen, all the same amenities as The Birches, but smaller. It's brand new, beautifully designed, built and decorated to be rented separately or together with The Birches for larger families or groups. It's own parking, grill, outdoor seating and fire pit.
There is a Ring Doorbell with security camera on the front door.
This is a beautiful, historic residential neighborhood with tree-lined-streets in the quaint yet vibrant lake town of Frankfort, on the shorts of Lake Michigan, and also Betsie Lake. Walk to the beach and lighthouse, restaurants, breweries, a movie theater, grocery store, coffee shops, galleries, a marina with fishing boats, and friendly locals greet you along the way.
The property is on a one way street, as are many of the streets in this neighborhood. Please watch for the signs.
Most everything you'll want to do is within walking distance from the property. Beach is 4 blocks away. Main St is 2 blocks away.
Please Note: All guests staying at this property must be 25 or older unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. This will be verified after booking confirmation.

There is a 3% non-refundable credit card processing fee applied to all reservations.

If the reservation is 14 days or longer there will be a required mid-stay clean. This is also available upon request for a shorter length of stay.

If you need to cancel because of Covid we will need proof of a positive test result. We may be able to refund the portion of the reservation we are able to rebook if you cancel immediately. If you cannot provide a positive test result, our cancellation policy will stand as agreed at your time of booking.
