Descrizione dell'alloggio

Spacious one-story property located in the luxurious Panoramar urbanization of Port de la Selva. A 10-minute walk from the town centre, where you will find all the comforts for your vacation, and 5 minutes from the beach. They will enjoy a quiet vacation near the tourist centre, but without noticing the frenzy that this implies.
90m2 property distributed on one floor. Upon entering, you will find a well-equipped modern kitchen with ceramic hob, fridge, enough kitchenware for 8, washing machine, oven, microwave, and Nespresso coffee machine. This space is open to the dining room of more than 40m2, where you will find an expandable table for up to 8 people, a comfortable sofa, and next to it, a second sofa with the option to turn it in a double bed.

At the end of the dining room there is a large terrace with an outdoor table to enjoy the summer sun, with the possibility of opening the awning if it is too intense. The wide access to the terrace provides very good natural lighting to the interior of the house.

On the same floor we find the 3 bedrooms: two of them are double, one with a small terrace facing south, and the third has two single beds. All three have a size between 10 and 12 m2. There is only one bathroom, but, like its shower, is very large and spacious.

You will see that the property is the first floor of a two-story house. Access to the lower floor (only possible from the outside) is prohibited as it is a private area and is not a space included in the price rent.

The property has heating, air conditioning in the bedrooms and dining room and Wi-Fi connection. Since the Internet access in the area is dimensioned by the existing neighbours during the year, in the middle of summer the network can suffer episodes of saturation due to the increase in connected users.
It does not have common areas, therefore, they have the complete usufruct of the property.
Near the border with France, we find Port de la Selva, a small fishing village where its tranquillity is rarely disturbed.

As soon as you arrive at Port de la Selva you realize that the years have not passed for this fishing town, whose architectural complex seems anchored in the past.

Precisely for this reason we consider it’s essential to walk along its promenade and enter its small but charming old town presided over by the elegant Church of Santa María de las Neus from the early 20th century.

Its port and small fishing boats stranded on the sand are also another of the charms of Port de la Selva. Even though its postcards are not as well-known as those of its neighbour Cadaqués, its charm is undeniable and worth admiring.

Another of its attractions are its beaches and coves, considered by many to be the best on the entire Costa Brava.
With the common denominator of crystal-clear water, characteristic of the Cap de Creus Natural Park area, in the municipality of Port de la Selva you can find up to 31 beaches and coves.

From fine sand beaches to small coves made of rocks shaped by the erosion of the sea, the offer that we find in this part of the Catalan coast is almost unbeatable.

Some of our recommendations are: Platja d'en Robert, Platja de la Tamariua, Platja d'en Pere Esteve, Cala Serena, Cala Torta and Cala Prona.

SANT PERE DE RODES MONASTERY

This monastery stands on one of the peaks of the Sierra de Rodes, a chain on the seafront to the north of the Alt Empordà. It is one of the numerous witnesses of Catalan Romanesque architecture, but perhaps it is one of the most architecturally sophisticated.

From the 11th to the 14th century, it was the main spiritual centre of the county of Empúries and its splendor is shown in the large dimensions of the monastic complex. It is made up of the church, the bell tower, the cloister, the sacristies, the conventional living quarters and the Abbot's palace.

From the monastery you can enjoy one of the best views of Cap de Creus. Shortly before arriving, there are the remains of the medieval town of Santa Creu de Rodes, among which the church of Santa Helena de Rodes stands out.
General admission is €6 and reduced admission is €4

You can get to this monastery by car and leave it in a parking lot that is a 10-minute walk from the monument, and from there you have the option of walking up to the castle of Sant Salvador de Verdera. This itinerary, once you get to the top, has one of the best panoramic views of the entire Empordà. From the castle of Sant Salvador, we obtain a 360º view where we can contemplate the Bay of Roses, the Empordà plain, the Pyrenees, Llançà, El Port de la Selva, La Vall de Santa Creu, La Selva de Mar and intuit the tip of Cap de Creus. The trail starts right next to the entrance to the Sant Pere de Rodes monastery where we find the stairs and the sign that will guide us to the castle ruins. The unevenness is pronounced and in the last stretch of the way it is even more accentuated, but the reward once we reach the top is worth the effort. The journey is about 30/45 minutes.
There are other very nice routes to do if you enjoy hiking. Another one that we recommend is the Camino de Ronda from Port de la Selva to Llançà. It is a very charming route where you can see different coves and beaches of amazing beauty. The route takes less than two hours (one way) and is of low difficulty since it is very flat and suitable for families with children. Once we arrive at Llançà there is the possibility of returning by public transport.

- Rental agreement.
- Declaration of minors (if any).
- Registration to the police website (Organic Law for the Protection of Citizen Security of March 30, 2015).

All these documents will be signed/filled digitally.

Cancellation and collection policy

When making your reservation, you will be charged €3 to check the card and to cover the management costs in case of cancellation. If it is not canceled, these €3 will become part of the total payment of the reservation. If you cancel before 14 days for your registration, you will only be charged the €3 administration costs.
14 days before your registration, you will be charged 50% of the value of the reservation, which will not be refunded (of this first payment) if you cancel between days 14 and 7 before your registration.
7 days before your registration, the remaining 50% of the total value of the reservation will be charged. If you cancel in the period between 7 days and the same day of registration, the total value of the reservation will not be refunded.
