Seconds away from the famous Stauf's coffee shop, restaurants, parks, and the book loft.
With this home, you’ll be able to enjoy all Columbus has to offer without being too close to have it impact your well-deserved sleep.

Perfect for a weekend getaway with friends, family, business trips, and individuals traveling for events that are always being held in the German Village area, Short North & Columbus Area.
Our updated 3br sits on East Sycamore Street where you will enter through the front that includes modern finishes such as Historic Hardwood Floors, Granite Counter Tops, fully renovated bathroom, fully renovated kitchen, Fine art, & a Large Patio area where you can enjoy yourself out on the patio enjoying a nice cold drink or glass of wine.
Our 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom has everything you need to enjoy your stay here in German Village and feel at home! Our Modern House includes 2 bedrooms upstairs and 1 bedroom on the 3rd floor. Upstairs on the second floor is 1 Queen bed and a Pull out crib in the master and then a Queen in the other bedroom that shares a full shower in the hallway that includes a walk-in shower and a beautiful historic tub. Right around the corner, you will find the door to walk up to the 3rd level where you will have 2 full beds and your second full bathroom with walk in shower. On the bottom floor is your living room space, a fully stocked kitchen, and a half bathroom right outside the door. Our common/living room space comes with 1 comfortable couch and 4 chairs where you can relax and enjoy streaming with our smart TV. Lastly, our Luxurious kitchen is stocked with FREE coffee, a blender, a microwave, toaster, cutting knives/cutting board, & cookware to cook full course meals for your other behalf, friends, and family. There are a Washer and Dryer in the house on the 2nd floor, high-speed WIFI & a Smart TV to watch all the Netflix you want (no cable).
There is plenty of windows allowing for natural light. Enjoy a shower that includes (Shampoo, Body Wash/soap, Towels, Washcloths, & Hand Towels).

1. High Chair Rentals (2 Available) - $30 per, on a first come basis
You can access the home anytime after 4 PM by using the Keyless Keypad to enter with your unique code that is sent 3 days prior to arrival. We ask that you respect our home and the quiet hours of the community.
For early checkin or late checkout, please understand there is a $10 per hour cost as long as there is not a same day check in or check out. For late check out we asked that this is communicated the night before 9 pm in order to respectively communicate to our housekeepers. If not, there is a $40 hour charge the next day if there is not a check in. This MUST be approved by the Host.
Right, when you step outside our Lovely house you will be steps away from S 3rd Street. As you start to walk left you are steps away from Chapman's Eat Market, The Book Loft, Hausfrau Haven, Stauf's Coffee, Tiki Botanicals, Winans Chocolates, and many more!
The neighborhood is one mile from Mapfre Stadium, two miles from Ohio State's campus, three miles from the short north, and four miles from Downtown. Bars within a 5-minute walk from the Big Blue House include the Rambling House and Rumba Cafe. Alternatively, you can take a walk to Glen Echo Park, one of Columbus's most beautiful parks. Clintonville restaurants and shops are just a half-mile away as well.
There is NOT free parking on site. You would need to park on Breck Street, which is a one min walk to and from the property that is towards the highway side or on the Weekends some parts of S 3rd Street is free.
You have lots of options for getting around in the German Village area, but based on our location everything is within walking distance. If you're looking to get to the Short North area or downtown you have the following below as well:
1. Uber/Lyft
2. Lime Scooters, which are great to get around Short North
3. COTA Bus depending on where you're traveling and coming from
4. Taxi
HOUSE RULES:
1. NO Parties. Our properties are all residential, so we ask that you please respect the property as if it was your own home. ONLY registered guests are permitted inside the property. Parties and loud noises are strictly prohibited. Violation of our no-party rule will result in a $1000 collection and immediate cancellation of your stay, and police may be contacted and act on our behalf. We take this very seriously in order to protect our partner's assets and the city laws.
2. NO Smoking in or around our properties. All of our units are non-smoking. This includes the use of cigarettes, marijuana, and/or vaping. If you wish to smoke we ask you to take it outside. ANY VIOLATION of this rule will result in a $200 fine or collection if necessary. This includes any evidence of tampering with the smoke detectors which may be monitored remotely.
3. NO music video recordings at all!
4. Keep in mind quiet hours to respect each and every one's stay around you. Quiet hours during the week are 10 pm to 7 am. On the weekend quiet hours are 11 pm to 6 am. Please understand breakage of these rules is immediate cancellation of your stay and will be asked to vacate the property immediately.
5. WIFI:
Our properties are equipped with free high-speed internet. The network name and password will be sent to you a few hours prior to check-in. Please refrain from any illegal downloads as it’s a federal offense here in the US.
6. HOUSEKEEPING:
We provide linens, towels, poggesi soaps (shampoo, conditioner, & soap), makeup wipes, ground coffee or k-cups, salt and pepper, cooking oil, toilet paper, and paper towels, hand soap, kitchen soap, dish detergent pods inside the unit for you. If there is a washer and dryer offered inside the property then we provide laundry detergent pods and dryer sheets.
If you have arrived and something is missing, please alert us immediately so that we can make sure to send someone over with the replacement as soon as possible. If you are in a unit where an air mattress is available and have spoken with our team about using it, the extra pillow and sheets are in the closets. We do not provide daily housekeeping or laundry service during your stay unless requested for long-term stays.
7. SURVEILLANCE:
Our properties are monitored by EXTERIOR security cameras. These are used for the security of you, your guests, and others around you. Please refrain from any illegal activity on or around the premises.
8. CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM:
Our Customer Service Team is available Monday through Sunday 24/7, but understand they work outside of the US so we ask to understand time differences and or connection issues every now and then. Keep in mind our team is always here for you to ensure you have a 5-star experience. Please do not call or text the number provided through the channel you booked as it will go to voicemail. Please communicate through here unless there is a maintenance emergency
9. MAINTENANCE & PROPERTY MANAGER:
Business hours for our on-the-ground team and maintenance work from 8 am to 5 pm. Our maintenance team is on call though after hours when needed and available. Please note if they DO NOT answer then they are handling another job for a guest and to text them your first/last name, property address, and concern. If there is a life-threatening or medical emergency please call 911 immediately.
