The Depot is a popular Sacramento gay bar in the heart of Midtown, Sacramento's gay district. Considered a popular dive bar with cheap drinks, welcoming and friendly staff, and chill vibes, the Depot is smaller than other gay bars in this area of California's capital city. The neighborhood atmosphere makes up for it—definitely a Sacramento favorite since 1997.

Open Monday to Thursday, 4 pm to 2 am; Friday, 4 pm to 4 am; Saturday, noon to 4 am; and Sunday, noon to 2 am. Cash-only. ATM is available in the bar if you need it.

Next door is Badlands, a gay club owned by the same owner.
