The beautiful beach of Plage la Petite Amérique is located on the Lake Neuchâtel, right by the town of Yvonand. During the warmer months, people flock to the shores to enjoy the lake's crystal clear waters and the beach's fine sand. While this is not specifically a gay beach, it is clothing-optional, so people who come to this beach generally have a very tolerant attitude. Additionally, it's relative seclusion and forest surroundings make it a good spot for some possible gay cruising, should you be in the mood.
Plage de la Petite Amérique is easily accessible by car or public transport. Simply travel to the town of Yvonard, and then it's just a short walk to the lake. Yvonard is roughly 90 minutes by train from Switzerland's capital, Bern, and 40 minutes from Lausanne.
We would like to thank misterb&b member, François, for sharing this great gay beach suggestion with us.
