Sense Gorges

The impressive sandstone gorges along the Sense River make for the perfect serene place to catch up on some nature and serenity - and they're super unique. Come summer, the shores of the river are filled with people who come to sunbathe and splash in the river.

From Albligen, travel along the river on foot for roughly 20 minutes in the downstream direction. You will soon reach a gay section of the shore, where you'll likely encounter other LGBTQ+ people who have come to enjoy the natural surroundings along with some possible cruising. While Albligen is most conveniently accesible by car, you can also travel by train and the journey is roughly 30 minutes.
