Au K'banon is a restaurant-snack bar and ice-cream parlour, situated under filaos trees on the beach of L'Ermitage, in Saint-Gilles-les-Bains. It serves traditional cuisine with specialities including grilled fish, caris, cold dishes, home-made desserts and ice-creams served on the terrace facing the lagoon. Restaurant awarded the Maître Restaurateur quality label. Breakfasts served from 9:00 a.m. and cocktails at sunset. It also has a snack bar area serving salads, sandwiches, caris and waffles to eat in or take away. Open every day from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday and Sunday evenings until 10:00 p.m. Fins, masks and snorkels can be hired. Deckchairs and parasols available for customers. Children's games. Gay Friendly-labelled restaurant.
