The beach of the Pointe d'Arçay is the biggest naturist beach of Vendée. It extends over several kilometers: from the end of the Barriques beach to the Pointe d'Arçay. At the edge, the reserve is closed to the public. From the end you can see the Ile de Ré.
To get there from La Faute sur mer, go to the Pointe d'Arcay. At the parking lot of the Amourettes beach, turn left towards the Barriques beach, after the sign allowing entrance 17 towards the Pointe d'Arcay. Then turn left on ""Voie sans issue"" and continue on the forest road. Turn right onto the road leading directly to the natural beach at the end of the peninsula, indicated by signs. It will take you about 15 minutes to reach this beach from Les Barriques. The gay area is a little set back from the nudist area.
