The beach of Pampelonne is the most frequented beach of the peninsula of Saint Tropez located on the road of beaches 5 km south of Saint Tropez in the bay of Pampelonne just opposite Ramatuelle. It borders the Cap de Saint-Tropez to the north and Cap Camarat to the south. This white sand beach is home to some of the most popular private beach clubs such as La plage Tahiti and Nikki Beach. Some of the clubs that no longer exist like Aquaclub or Coco Beach were very gay-friendly.
To get to the gay naturalistic space, leave Cavalaire on the D93 in the direction of Saint Tropez after the Ramatuelle traffic circle. After 500m, turn right onto the Chemin de Bonne Terrasse and continue straight ahead until you reach the parking lot. After facing the sea, walk 200 meters to the left. The gay beach is there in this area of Bonne Terrasse to the left of the Bamboo hut and the surveillance station. The paths go through the reeds to the beach. Another area of the beach is naturalist near ""Neptune Plage"".
