The Liouquet beach located between La Ciotat and St Cyr sur Mer is a beautiful pebble beach at the foot of the cliffs east of La Ciotat. It is the last beach of the Bouches du Rhône before the beaches of the Var.
To go to the Liouquet beach from La Ciotat follow the direction of Saint Cyr sur Mer and Bandol, pass the D559 and a little before arriving at the port of Saint Cyr go along the cliff of Liouquet on your right. Park as soon as possible (hard in summer). The entrance to the beach is 400m on the right. Take the stairs of the cornice. At the bottom turn left and go around the gates on the rocks. You have to walk along the cliff passing by the family naturist area, you will arrive in the rather gay area. Beware of falling rocks. Moreover the right part of the staircase is also forbidden because it is too dangerous. Beach sandals are recommended for swimming.
